A little about my story

Since the age of 11 when I started playing piano for children’s church, I have been actively involved in many areas of service including music ministry, youth counseling, college and career, singles and women’s ministries and several wonderful prayer modalities.

However, a few years ago, I found myself in a place where every door seemed closed. Loss and trauma seemed overwhelming, and I was at my wits end. In spite of many years of walking with the Lord, I was paralyzed by fear, trapped in a pit of depression, and couldn’t see a way forward in spite of thousands of dollars spent on trainings and mentorships.

I enrolled in a faith based heart healing program to work on my own brokenness and hopefully someday bring wholeness to others.  I really doubted that all the bitter things in my life could be made sweet.  However, little by little, as I turned over hurt, anger and regret to the Lord, He transformed each negative thing into something beautiful like the finest chocolate…exchanging beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!  Isaiah 61:3

I felt so much increase in peace, joy, and freedom that even friends were noticing how different my life and attitude was. I felt like the sweet things He placed in my heart increased my capacity to pour out His love to others. I am now pressing into the Lord’s direction for all the ways He wants to use me and the wonderful things He has planned!
